The Silver Lining

As you can imagine, my family has been going through a lot lately.  As soon as one thing ends, something else happens.  There is never a break to the insanity, there IS ALWAYS SOMETHING.

Instead of becoming overwhelmed by all of this, I keep trying to see the silver lining in the situation... and here are some of the good things that have come about...

My husband is A LOT less stressed, which means he is A LOT more pleasant.

Hubby has been taking the Kid to and from the bus stop, which is wonderful for a couple reasons....
     1) Hubby is spending a lot more time with the Kid.
     2) I don't have to get up an hour early to take the Kid to the babysitter, and I get home within
         20 minutes of leaving work.

We finally brought the treadmill in from the garage!

We had to put the treadmill in the Kid's room, so we re-did his room and added a couch.  He will be so surprised!

Hubby and I have made the decision that we will host Christmas Eve at our basementhouse this yeat.  This has been our tradition since our second Christmas together.  We thought we wouldn't host this year, since the house isn't finished.  We decided to take over the coal room that night and do a buffet style dinner.

So as you can see there is a silver lining in everything that comes your way!

Good on you for looking for, and finding the silver lining. It's awfully hard to do sometimes, isn't it? Especially when you have people in your life causing drama.

I hope you have a great Christmas gathering@
